The Norsk Tradition
Our story spans two continents and three generations. A master furniture maker from Norway, Karl O.
Drøpping immigrated to Canada after World War II; ultimately settling in Seattle. He was soon building custom homes utilizing the skills and attention to detail only a Svendebrev master furniture maker could
accomplish — combining uncommon craftsmanship and a value in unequaled workmanship. Karl established the guiding and core
principles on which Norsk
is founded.
These principles were passed on to Per Drøpping as he grew up working along side his father. Over a span of thirty years and over 3000 projects, Per and his wife Patti built upon the foundation initiated by Per’s father and created the Norsk company. Per and Patti are still actively involved in shaping and maintaining the reputation of Norsk.
Along with their son, Karl J., named after his grandfather, they continue the same values and traditions.
Karl J. Drøpping, President of the Norsk family of companies, has built on the foundation of previous generations and broadened Norsk to what it is today. Norsk offers an unparalleled design~build process which includes award-winning design and construction. By harnessing the best in both technology and people, Karl continues to create an unsurpassed client experience which would make his grandfather proud.
NORSK ~ built on traditions of the past, while focused on the future. |
