THE NORSK TRADITION
Our story spans two continents and three generations. A master furniture maker from Norway, Karl O. Dropping immigrated to Canada after World War II ultimately settling in Seattle. An accomplished Svendebrev carpenter, he was soon utilizing his skills and attention to detail to build custom homes. Combining uncommon craftsmanship and unparalleled workmanship, Karl established the guiding and core principles on which Norsk is founded.
These principles were passed on to Per Dropping as he grew up working alongside his father. Over a span of thirty years and over 3000 projects, Per and his wife Patti expanded on the foundation created by Per’s father. In 1991 they brought their son Karl into their business and instilled these same ideals in him.
Karl J. Dropping, President of Norsk Design-Build, continues the values and traditions of previous generations in the industry. His company Norsk Design-Build, offers an unparalleled Design-Build method that focuses on keeping his clients in control throughout the design and construction process.
