Romancing the Views: Mukilteo, WA

Homeowners purchased their mid-80’s Mukilteo Puget Sound view home in the fall of 2017.  The goal was to remodel as soon as possible to meet their contemporary aesthetic and entertaining lifestyle. After finding Norsk at the Seattle Home Show, our team got to work on realizing the homeowner’s dreams.

Our in-house architect created a better flow through the main floor by expanding into the existing pantry, extending the fridge wall, and recreating the kitchen entry by removing the message center.  This reconfiguration not only improved overall flow but allowed for kitchen expansion without a costly addition to the home’s exterior.  Additional light-filled visual space was also created through the widening of the entries to the dining room and formal living room as well as creating an opening between the entry stairwell and formal living room.

In the master suite, reconfiguration of the bathroom and closet created the space for a large walk-in shower and the addition of a linen closet.

Finally, the lower floor entry from the garage was reconfigured to create a new open mudroom with tons of covered storage.

Throughout the process, our design team worked with the homeowners to select and configure finishes and fixtures to create this gorgeous atmosphere that complements and enhances the impressive water and mountain views!

Homeowner pride beams as you enter their new forever home.
